Hello Dreamwidth!

 Hello everybody!

I'm Jan and this will be my BJD journal from now on. I'm migrating EVERYTHING (O_O) dollie related from my other journal (yaminotenshi11) to here.  All the box openings, random shoots and photostories will be moved here now. :)

I'm still working on fixing the old photos to make them more presentable...or as presentable as possible ('cause Ra dammit, I'm no good with using a camera. X.x), but hopefully I can get those done soon.

Anyway, looking forward to filling in this new journal with more doll stuff. :)

Jared's Box Opening: WELCOME HOME JARED!

First up is my first doll's box opening. Mygaaah, it's been 2 years since he arrived. ;u; Wait, gimme a moment.../weeps in ugly tears of pride XD

I tried to fix the photos but they were hopeless. But I don't know, I kinda like them that way now that I look at them. They may not be the best but they definitely bring back those nervous-shaky-camera-wielding-hands-first-dolly-box-opening-OMG moment. I also kept all the typos. IDK, I'm weird...like that..O_O Anyway~ Here we go, first re-post.

Okay, I know this is late and everything because he arrived home yesterday since it's now 1 AM (EDIT: I finished this at about 2:30 *facepalm*), but this is something that I need to put in here.

Right, so, I have been dreaming of this moment for four years ever since I've first laid my eyes on a BJD.  A DOI Crush was actually one of the first dolls I fell in love with ( Aside from a Ducan and a tanned elf Ducan that I may never ever get. /shot).

So anyway, November 2, 2011, I picked up Jared from the Post Office/Customs/That Place with many boxes.  I nearly lost my head when I saw the manong there carrying the big box with the big DOD logo. So yeah, the package got inspected and I paid the taxes/duties.

 

You know, some of the things that I was dreading were paying the taxes and being questioned by the people there about that big heavy box that I was picking up, but you know, the people there were really nice...or they were just in a good mood. Either way, I'm thankful that they were accommodating. XD
